THE PROGRAMS

FARMWORKERS IN CONVERSATION

Farmworkers in Conversation is an ongoing series that puts farmworkers of specific backgrounds, experiences, or career paths into conversation and connection with each other. Through the form of virtual events, panels, or other resources in print + online – there is opportunity for other farm workers as well as the general public to learn more about the diversity of farmworker experiences as well as farmworker visions for our collective farming futures.

FREE SCHOOL FOR FARMWORKERS

Free School for Farm Workers is a community education series for farmworkers. All Free School teach-in topics come from needs and requests posed by farmworkers. Past sessions have included Climate Grief, Farming in an Ableist Society, Farmwork and Carework, Taking Care of Yourself and Crew in Extreme Heat, Seedsaving, Finding Off-season Jobs and more.

Free School is a collaborative project between NOF, University of Wisconsin-Extension, and FairShare CSA Coalition.

Please fill out this form to suggest a future teach-in topic
